How Does the Permanent Recruitment Process Work? 
Call Concorde Staff Source and be prepared to discuss the details of your opening (type of setting/practice, procedures, call schedule, equipment, salary/guarantee, partnership, benefits).


The following is a step-by-step guide to the process.

  • DISCUSS details of the position and fee arrangements with Concorde Consultant.

  • SIGN Concorde's contingency fee agreement.

  • REVIEW resumes/CVs of candidates.

  • CALL candidates promptly in order to facilitate the recruitment process.

  • SCHEDULE interview for candidate.

  • CONSULT your Concorde Consultant after you have prepared the itinerary for the visit. Include personal tour of community, schools, and don't forget spouse/significant other's personal interests.

  • REVIEW references provided by Concorde.

  • PREPARE offer/contract for candidate. Consult Concorde for information on competitive offers in your area.

  • CONFIRM with Concorde that all details of the visit are in place.

  • GIVE FEEDBACK on interview and interest in candidate to your Concorde Consultant and you will be provided feedback on the candidate's interest level.

  • MAKE OFFER timely. Within one week of visit and set timeframe for candidate's response.

  • NEGOTIATE any details as needed in offer/contract. Confirm start date.

  • PREPARE for arrival of candidate to community. (housing, additional equipment, licensure, hospital privileges, etc.)

  • CONFIRM with Concorde that candidate is prepared for move to community.

  • ORIENTATE on the candidate's first day. Make them comfortable with the setting, staff and protocols.

  • THINK RETENTION your job is not done once the candidate starts. Check periodically with the new hire on how they are doing and for possible problem areas that need to be resolved.
