How Far Ahead Must I Arrange For A
Physician?
A good rule of thumb is 6-8 weeks; however, we will do our best to accommodate shorter notice.
Do I Have To Fly The Physician In From Out Of
State?
Not necessarily. We maintain a pool of physicians who reside in your state or region. Due to shortages in certain specialties, when we need to fly a physician to your location we will coordinate the travel.
How Does Malpractice Coverage Work?
Concorde covers all Locum Tenens Physicians on our malpractice policy. No need to worry about getting insurance.
How Much Do I Pay The Physician?
The fee will vary by specialty and demands of your practice. Your Concorde consultant will help you determine the daily rate and negotiate this with the physician.
What If I Want The Physician To Stay
Permanently?
Sometimes our physicians use Locum Tenens to explore permanent options. If you choose to offer a permanent position to the physician, Concorde will negotiate the terms of this agreement as well.
