Once you have heard the presentation of the Locum Tenens Opportunity Profile and you have agreed to work the assignment, the process will begin. Your Concorde Consultant, Credentialing Coordinator and our Travel Agent will all assist you to make this process go smoothly. Please let these individuals know the easiest way to reach you and try to return their phone calls or respond to e-mail as quickly as possible. In all Locum Tenens Assignments time is of the essence.

The most time consuming part of the process involves credentialing. If you plan to work other Locum Tenens Assignments, it would be worth your time to gather all your documents together, so you may easily access them again.

The following is a step-by-step guide to the process.

COMMIT to work the assignment and calendar it into your schedule.

COMPLETE the Concorde Application and forward all necessary documentation.

REVIEW the Concorde Confirmation Letter to confirm the details of the assignment.

COMPLETE the hospital medical staff application for privileges and provide necessary documentation.

WORK with Skyy Travel (if needed) to arrange airline travel.

CONSULT with Concorde Staff Source if you have any questions before you leave for your assignment.

ARRIVE at assignment and MEET with your contact for orientation (see confirmation letter).

FOLLOW-UP with your Concorde Consultant while you are on assignment to be sure everything is going well

FAX your timesheet at the end of every week so you will be paid timely.

GIVE FEEDBACK to your Concorde Consultant at the end of the assignment. How did it go? Was the assignment presented accurately? Would you go back?
