Staff Snapshot: Jessica Beneker

Risk Management Specialist
Years at Concorde: 9

For the physician busy preparing for their next assignment, Concorde team member Jessica has an essential duty as acting liaison between the facility and physician, securing all documentation and requirements necessary to get them on board quickly.

How would you describe your role at Concorde?

I work directly with physicians to complete our file for insurance coverage, as well as assisting the physician with any licensure and facility requirements. I’m here to take some of the pressure and responsibility off the physician and move things along as quickly as possible so that everything’s in place by the scheduled start date.

What differentiates Concorde from its competitors?

Concorde truly cares about the quality of physicians that we provide to our clients, as well as the quality of the facilities at which we place the physicians. We do everything possible to find the best fit and to ensure that all parties are happy with the process, while also providing them with personal and friendly service in all areas.

What changes or trends in risk management have you seen in the industry in the past year?

Overall, I don’t know if there are many “trends” in Risk Management; it changes on a daily basis. If anything, all processes – from obtaining facility privileges to gaining state licensure – have become more complex than even before.

What’s your favorite thing about working at Concorde?

We all try to find ways to work together, not just as individuals, on behalf of our clients and candidates. The size of the company creates a great work atmosphere and camaraderie among the staff. Many people have been here for a very long time, and we’ve developed relationships with each other, as well as with many clients and physicians. I enjoy working for a company where I feel appreciated, and I know that my work does make a difference.

Jessica recently participated in Special Olympics Wisconsin’s Over the Edge event, rappelling down 16 floors, after raising more than $1,000 for the organization. The photo above captures Jessica in action.
